Hexu's free URL shortening

Enter a long URL, press a button, a short URL will be automatically generated. You can use the short URL in BBS or in HTML files
The long URL can be a website URL, or address of a picture.

Here is some advice that will help you in using my free tools:

(1) URL collecting service is currently only support Chinese users. But Soon my new site in UTF8 will come. You are welcome to my new site!

(2) Syber-messager service in English UTF8 version is complete few days ago. I call this MESSU, meaning Message You. You can see it soon too.

(3) While you are using URL shorting service, what you need to do is copy the target URL to clipboard, than a click on input box in url shorting page. The target URL will automatically paste into the input box. If you using Opera, the Javascipt maybe not work, please paste the URL yourself. Once the target url appear in the input box, click Go button. In next page, you will get the shortened URL which is in a green input box. A click on the input box, then copy the short url. Now you can use this short url anywhere, maybe in a signature in some BBS, maybe in a HTML file, maybe in your blog ...

(4) Please remember your shortened url, hexu.info doesn't keep it if you close the browser window. A new site that will keep all your URLs will come soon.

http://hexu.info/12345	Five numbers ending the URL	This type of URL is the typical URL format of HEXU's URL collection address. The numbers ending the URL must be 5 numbers and the first number must be 1. Please check you input, and make sure there is such a user ID.
http://zipuc.com/XI3c	URL Ending with a string mixing numbers and characters	This is zipuc.com's URL shortening format. If you are sure your input is correct, the probable reason that you can't be leading to your target is the original URL(the long URL) is unavailable anymore.
http://hexu.info/hxR3id	A string starting with 'hx' and following 4~6 characters	HEXU's Messu service give such a URL. If your input is right and can't find you message, please login to your account using your ID on hexu.info and check the Messu listing on the left of your member page.
